Mentoring

“Talent is equally distributed, opportunity is not”

— Leslie Cornfield

The CS Everyone Reboot Mentorship Program pairs students in the Computer Science K-12 Teaching Graduate Certificate Program with experienced computer science (CS) teachers and Ed Tech professionals, who are well positioned to support them in achieving their personal and professional CS Education goals. Our mentors are adept at providing guidance and emotional support, designing and developing curricula, networking, and so much more!

What is the role of a mentor?

  • Provide support to establish and maintain a mentee’s work-life balance throughout the program.
  • Provide practical advice on navigating a mentee’s new role as a CS educator.
  • Help mentees find and curate CS resources, lesson plans, and activities.
  • Help make connections and grow mentee’s professional networks and CS learning communities.
