Tutoring
Overview
Through our CS Everyone scholarship, we offer on-demand online tutoring support via Zoom to students enrolled in the programming courses of the Computer Science Education Programs in the College of Education at University of Florida. Our tutors, who are carefully selected by the program faculty, possess both strong content knowledge and extensive K-12 teaching experience. Tutors provide practical assistance with course projects and help students to master programming skills, alleviating imposter syndrome along the way. Additionally, tutors share valuable CS teaching resources and tips, preparing students to transition into or enhance their qualifications for K-12 CS teaching positions.
Tutoring Sessions
Tutoring sessions are available throughout the semester and can be arranged as one-on-one or group sessions, depending on tutors’ availability and students’ preferences. Coordinated by the course instructor, tutors may also conduct live coding sessions for the entire class, providing the opportunity for more students to interact with them.
