Director Maya Israel just got back from the amazing micro:bit Live event in Barcelona, Spain. This event had participants show hands-on learning with the micro:bit, share strategies for applications of computer education, and build connections globally within the computer science education community.
Dr. Maya Israel had the opportunity to be a speaker at the opening event and talk about the past ten years in computer science education, as well as trends, opportunities, and challenges for the future. She also joined a panel on accessible learning, making sure educators are aware of the many tools we can use to make computer science available to all learners.
