This April the CS Everyone Center continued its work on the Google.org and National Science Foundation funded Universal Design for Learning for Computer Science (UDL4CS) program in Chicago Public Schools. As part of this effort on this project Director Maya Israel and doctoral student Adam Bernstein traveled to Chicago to help support the event.
The students in Chicago presented their amazing projects in computer science and robotics, which were aimed at helping all learners grow and thrive in the public education system. These students showcased their impactful work to over 800 other students and educators, allowing learners from all schools to see their progress and what each school has to offer. The event provided an opportunity for students and educators to learn from one another and highlighted how schools across the district are integrating computer science into their classrooms.
