Our Microcredentials

We proudly offer three series of innovative microcredentials designed to empower K-12 educators in computer science (CS) and artificial intelligence (AI) education. These programs support both future and experienced teachers in integrating cutting-edge CS and AI concepts into their classrooms, fostering inclusive and dynamic learning environments.

Our microcredentials were co-designed with teachers (from public, private, and charter schools), instructional designers, and coaches to equip educators with the knowledge and skills needed to integrate CS and AI into K-12 education effectively.

Each microcredential consists of a sequence of self-paced modules. At the end of each microcredential, teachers earn a Credly badge of completion.

FAQs

What are these microcredential series?

These online asynchronous microcredentials are designed for preservice and in-service K-12 teachers. They require about 20 hours of self-paced work. While there will be multiple microcredentials in a series, you are not required to take them all and can choose any order, depending on your interests and needs.

When are these microcredentials offered?

The courses will be open for 4 weeks where you can work at your own pace. Finish in a couple days, a couple weeks, or take the full term — it is totally what works best for you.

What else do I need to know before I start?

The microcredentials are online, asynchronous learning experiences. They are designed to be completed in modules giving them a flexible flow. Our aim is that the skills and lessons from each microcredential will be applied to your classes, now and in the future.
