CS Everyone Computer Science and AI Microcredentials

We designed our CS Everyone microcredentials to prepare educators to bridge the gap between research and practice in K-12 computer science and AI education.

Teachers engage in flexible asynchronous coursework that translates high-level technical theory into practical pedagogical practice. No matter your comfort level with technology, this University of Florida-developed program equips you with tools to overcome educational barriers and prepares your students to be future-ready.

Successful participants earn a Credly badge, which many districts and schools accept for continuing education credits.

FAQs

What are these microcredential series?

These online asynchronous microcredentials are designed for preservice and in-service K-12 teachers. They require about 20 hours of self-paced work. While there will be multiple microcredentials in a series, you are not required to take them all and can choose any order, depending on your interests and needs.

When are these microcredentials offered?

The courses will be open for 4 weeks where you can work at your own pace. Finish in a couple days, a couple weeks, or take the full term — it is totally what works best for you.

What else do I need to know before I start?

The microcredentials are online, asynchronous learning experiences. They are designed to be completed in modules giving them a flexible flow. Our aim is that the skills and lessons from each microcredential will be applied to your classes, now and in the future.
